Job Title: Publications Manager

Location: Hybrid in Plainsboro, NJ

Travel: 10–20% overnight travel

Overview:

We are seeking a Publications Manager with a strong science background and proven experience in medical or regulatory writing, publication planning, and project management. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to support the development and execution of strategic publication plans within Medical Affairs, ensuring alignment with global and local priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead publication planning and execution across assigned therapeutic areas.
• Manage timelines, budgets, agency partners, and author interactions.
• Prepare and review scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with publication guidelines and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, publication agencies, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain publication records in Datavision and support system training.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, or MD strongly preferred).
• CMPP certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of relevant industry or agency experience with PhD/MD/PharmD, or 4+ years with an MS.
• Strong understanding of publication processes and project management.
• Experience in diabetes, obesity, or rare disease areas is a plus.

Preferred Backgrounds:

Candidates with experience in:

• Medical writing or communication agencies
• Pharmaceutical/biotech companies
• Regulatory writing, medical affairs, medical information, or product safety
