Compensation: $18.25 - $20 plus $2 shift differential
Responsibilities: - Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
- Attend to the basic care and daily living needs of patients including going to the restroom, bathing, eating daily meals, taking proper medication dosages, and getting dressed
- Ensure medication carts and storage areas are organized, stocked, and in compliance
- Administer and document medications accurately
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
- Communicate relevant resident information to the supervising nurse, family members, and other facility staff as needed
Qualifications: - A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
- Needs strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables or wheelchairs and move medical equipment
- Proficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recorded
- Registered Medication Aid certification
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate about senior care
