About the Role

JCW is currently working on behalf of a well-respected fronting carrier looking to add a Senior Associate to join their reinsurance team, which manages over $1.5B in placements annually. This role supports both new business and renewal reinsurance programs across a range of insurance products. You’ll collaborate closely with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams, helping drive the reinsurance process from submission through execution. We’re looking for someone proactive, organized, and eager to grow within a small but high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate reinsurance placements—including submissions, broker communication, contract reviews, and internal approvals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of terms, contracts, and reinsurer information in internal systems.
• Support negotiations, due diligence, and contract execution across both new and renewal placements.
• Act as a resource across teams (Claims, Underwriting, Accounting) to resolve reinsurance-related questions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance; backgrounds in broking, underwriting, or MGA programs all welcome.
• Proven ability to manage complex processes with high attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree required; business or quantitative disciplines preferred.
