USP is seeking a consultant with a strong foundation in organic chemistry and chemical process development, combined with exceptional scientific writing and secondary research skills. This role involves analyzing literature and technical data to produce high-quality written deliverables and may work across multiple projects as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Literature Review & Secondary Research: Conduct comprehensive reviews of scientific literature and technical sources related to chemical process development and fine chemicals and small molecule API production.
· Data Interpretation: Analyze and synthesize chemical and technical data to extract meaningful insights.
· Scientific Writing: Develop clear, concise, and well-structured reports, white papers, and presentations that communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
· Collaboration: Work closely with chemists, data scientists, and project leads to ensure alignment with project goals
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
· At least 2 years of experience in the fine chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
· Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and chemical process development.
· Demonstrated experience in technical/scientific writing (e.g., reports, publications, white papers).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
· Familiarity with chemoinformatics or data science is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed team environment.
· Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
