Compensation- $21 - $26 hourly + Commission + Sign-On Bonus Potential: Up to $5,000 (Experience-Based)

$21 - $26 hourly + Commission

• Respond and diagnose a wide range of garage door problems and be able to provide solutions for customers.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify issues and prevent future breakdowns.
• Replace door springs, optimize garage door performance, install and fix broken hardware, program remotes, install new openers, and have the ability to fix or adjust any other component of a garage door or opener.
• Perform installations and repairs of overhead doors and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Be able to fabricate parts working with metal, steel, brick, and wood.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts used, and work performed for documentation and billing purposes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe work environment and adherence to company standards and protocols.

• Mechanically Inclined.
• Ability to problem solve and overcome difficult problems.
• Provide clear and excellent communication to customers.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Team Player.
• GED, High School Diploma, Or Equivalent.
• Driver's License.
• Good Standing Driving Record.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Skilled with Hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Must be able to commute to 6736 Lovers Lane, Portage, MI, and service anywhere within the Greater Kalamazoo area and beyond.

Preferred:

• Technical School Experience.
• Trade Skill Experience.
• 1 to 3 years of garage door installation or service experience.
