Reliant Home Funding, Inc. — a nationally recognized mortgage banker — is seeking an experienced Conventional Underwriter to join our growing team.
You’ll review and approve conventional residential mortgage loans to ensure compliance with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and internal guidelines. Work closely with processors and loan officers to deliver timely, accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Underwrite and review residential loan files for compliance and quality
Analyze income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation
Issue clear approvals, suspensions, or denials
Use industry-leading AI-powered technology to streamline decisions
Requirements:
3+ years of conventional underwriting experience
Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines
Proficiency with DU/LP and Encompass (or similar LOS)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
