Residential Pest Technician Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties for pest and termite activity.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans using current materials, control methods, and equipment.
  • Apply chemical treatments in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor treated areas and provide follow-up services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain treatments, provide recommendations, and build strong relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
  • Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Other duties as assigned.

Residential Pest Technician Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Licensed in the state of Texas in the categories of pest and termite control as a Commercial Certified Applicator, Commercial Technician or Apprentice.
  • Experience with various treatment programs, chemical applications, and pest control methods.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug test

Pest Technician /Exterminator Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and sales motivated.
  • Problem-solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
  • PestRoutes highly desired

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform fieldwork in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment of 50 pounds and materials as needed.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
