Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in York, PA, for a Security Officer. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry, and reporting suspicious behavior. The role involves regular interaction with clients and the public to ensure safety and security policies are maintained consistently.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and surveillance monitoring
• Skills in patrolling, inspecting buildings, and permitting entry
• Strong observational and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Act 235 Lethal Weapons Certification is required
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in security such as Act 235 and Act 67 or law enforcement are beneficial
