General Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department’s Residency and Fellowship programs, including accreditation, compliance, recruitment, evaluation, and education activities. Serves as a key resource on accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and specialty board certification, providing guidance to program leadership to ensure high-quality training programs. Acts as a liaison among trainees, faculty, administration, the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME), external agencies, and partner institutions.
This role requires maintaining confidential trainee and program records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, and leading marketing and recruitment initiatives. The position also involves identifying and implementing process improvements, supporting departmental training initiatives, and providing guidance or oversight to other staff as needed.
