We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician III to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business (Coburg, OR).

The Key Responsibilities for this position are:

  • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
  • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
  • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
  • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
  • Maintain own tools

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Vocational/technical diploma
  • Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools
  • Ability to work on larger, more complicated engine rebuilds
  • Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation
  • Engine repair experience
  • Proficiency with aftertreatment repairs
  • Fuel system & air handling repairs experience
  • Experience with natural gas repairs
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics & scanning tool experience
  • Chassis Repair Experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $30.77 to $46.15
  • Base salary rate commensurate with experience
