Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Founding Team // New York, NY

The Parambil team brings together deep clinical and statistical expertise with cutting-edge technology. Among our founding members are a former McKinsey and QuantumBlack product lead, the former Head of Medicine at both Yale and Stanford, and a data scientist from a leading fintech company.

The Tech You’ll Touch

• Frontend : Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, MUI v6, Tailwind, Emotion, Tiptap, MUI X Charts & Data Grid, Nivo Sankey, React PDF
• Backend : PostgreSQL + pgvector, Prisma, Auth0, OpenAI, Stripe, Slack API
• AWS : S3, DynamoDB, Athena, CloudWatch Logs, SQS, SES, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, IAM (plus Dockerized local dev)
• Tooling : ESLint, PostCSS, Mixpanel, Axios, Day.js / date-fns

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have

• 7+ years building production web apps (at least 2 years in Next.js 13/14 or React SSR/SSG frameworks).
• Deep fluency in TypeScript and modern React patterns (App Router, server components, Suspense).
• Proven experience designing REST/GraphQL or edge-function APIs, plus schema & query tuning in PostgreSQL .
• Hands-on AWS chops: deploying containerized or serverless apps, securing IAM roles, setting up CloudWatch / X-Ray traces, and troubleshooting VPC networking.
• Comfort with Prisma migrations , writing unit/integration tests, and maintaining CI/CD on EB or GitHub Actions.
• An eye for UX/performance: Lighthouse scores, a11y, bundle-size budgeting, and component theming.
• Excellent written & verbal communication — you’ll collaborate with product, design, and legal SMEs daily.

Bonus Points

• Network-level AWS expertise (VPC design, PrivateLink, security-group hardening).
• Familiarity with HIPAA / SOC 2 controls in cloud environments.

Compensation:

• $150K-$200K + equity
