Senior Product Designer

Dearborn, MI (4 days/week)

$110,000+ (DOE)

Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Start Date: August 18th, 2025

As a Senior Product Designer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you will help to drive design-thinking mentality across the organization responsible for all manufacturing technology.

With a higher emphasis on quality products and improved consumer experience, there is a need for user research and design expertise that will directly impact these enterprise-wide goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in Experience Architecture, UI/UX, or a similar field
  • 2+ years of experience with UX research tactics (ex: user interviews, creating user personas, user testing, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XP, Sketch
  • Front-end development knowledge (HTML/CSS or JavaScript)
  • BONUS: Experience in the automotive industry, working with engineers, or exposure to manufacturing environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts user research to understand user needs, mental models and working contexts
  • Create user journey maps to bring perspective to what the UI for applications should consist of
  • Take ideas from the concept to the production stage, using storyboarding, wireframing, redlines, prototypes, guidelines, and other communication/presentation methods
  • Develop detailed product deliverables that effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements
  • Participate in heuristic evaluations on past and current projects with project managers and developers
