As a Senior Rigging Engineer , you’ll be part of a cross-functional engineering team, developing lift plans for complex construction projects while mentoring junior engineers and shaping the future of innovative rigging solutions.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Rigging Engineer position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration); Master’s degree and Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• 8–10 years of structural rigging design and analysis experience, including falsework, shoring, welded/bolted connections
• Proficiency with lift drawings, rigging design, and lift analysis using software like RISA 3D, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with field ops and bidding teams
• Travel up to 20% for site surveys, job oversight, and collaboration (mostly Southern CA with occasional FL trips)
• Collaborate across divisions for cross-functional engineering projects
• Assist with project scoping, technical bid proposals, and purchasing support for rigging materials
• Evaluate subcontracted rigging plans, attend planning meetings, and ensure compliance with codes like ASME, AISC, ASTM

Salary: $125,000 - $195,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
