✨Yrs of experience: Minimum of 5–10 years in UX Design

✨Hybrid role: 2 to 3 days in office in Charlotte, NC.

✨Must have: A Portfolio with case study for Complex Enterprise-level or SaaS Products

We are searching for an experienced Principal Product Designer who has a passion for creating products and services that create value for our clients, and a solid understanding of designing for Complex Enterprise-level or SaaS Products.

You are as passionate about creativity as you are about human centered design and human outcomes. You will work across every stage of the product lifecycle, and all stages of the product design process, from strategy to build, to drive better outcomes for our clients, their employees and their customers.

You will work closely with product designers, managers and engineers—championing strong product design, shaping the future of complex enterprise and SaaS products.

This is a hands-on leadership role , ideal for someone who can strategize at the 10,000-ft level but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details when needed.

Key skills and experience:

  • A product design or consultancy background in designing complex enterprise-grade or SaaS platforms.
  • A strategic mindset and vision-driven approach where you consistently break down complex ideas into tangible design direction, aligned to product strategy and delivery.
  • A consultative mindset , able to spot opportunities to become an advisor to our clients, able to support them in driving change in their organization.
  • Consistent track record of balancing a design lead role with getting your hands dirty in the work where needed.
  • A strong systems thinker who understands how the pieces connect, continuously experimenting and improving human and business outcomes.
  • A hybrid designer with an outstanding portfolio showcasing a foundation in design research, user experience, interaction and visual design, and particular strengths in one or two of these areas.
  • Experience and ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders , and work across functions.
  • Ability to balance design strategy with day-to-day execution; detail-oriented and delivery-focused.
  • A sound understanding of front end engineering, experience in any front end technologies is an advantage.
  • A growth mindset, curious and eager to explore diverse ideas and learning, and seeking new opportunities and challenges.
  • A strong communicator both visually and verbally.
  • A strong portfolio in your CV showcasing a full case study from beginning to end (Problem to solution)

What you will be doing

  • Shape visions. Work with design, insights & data, product management, and engineering to explore new strategic areas, make sense of ambiguous challenges and turn this into impactful experiences.
  • Drive product design from ideation through execution with a focus on solving real user problems.
  • Lead a team of 3–5 product designers, helping them grow in their careers and craft.
  • Drive quality. Take a lead role on projects, setting the product design direction, running multi-disciplinary critiques and owning our creative reputation.
  • Advocate for strong product thinking—prioritizing problem definition before jumping into solutions.
  • Bring clarity and direction in ambiguous situations, especially within enterprise and SaaS domains.
  • Tackle high-impact problems. Partner with engineering and product management to ensure a high-quality implementation that meets both user, business and technology stakeholder needs.
