Position Description

iPullRank is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Manager to join our team to perform site auditing, keyword research, competitive analysis, log file audits, backlink audits, and to help with content marketing and client reporting. The SEO Manager is a master of all things Google with a technical mindset and an understanding of how Organic Search plays with the rest of the marketing mix. The client-facing role works directly with Client teams to deliver best-in-class SEO that drives results. This person will lead SEO efforts and collaborate extensively with The Director of SEO and Mike King to actively contribute to SEO research to develop new strategies and with the SEO community. This role may be hybrid or remote. Salary range: $80,000-$95,000.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively identify SEO opportunities and generate data-driven insights
  • Perform comprehensive Site Audits and prioritize recommendations
  • Perform in-depth log file analysis
  • Improve conversion of Organic Search traffic
  • Own performance monitoring reports and KPIs
  • Configure SEO tools for automated tracking
  • Work with Content Strategy to determine content and link building opportunities for client sites
  • Work with Analysts to perform Persona-Driven Keyword Research
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify actionable insights
  • Present deliverables and results to clients
  • Work with Development and Content Creation teams to implement SEO processes
  • Review algorithm updates to develop thought leadership content
  • Contribute to new business through iPullRank inbound marketing efforts and research for new business pitches

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of search engine optimization experience
  • Possess thorough, up-to-date knowledge of search engine ranking factors and maintains current SEO practices
  • Previous client-facing experience
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS required
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and relevant frameworks such as React, and Angular preferred
  • Proficiency with Analytics packages and Google Search Console
  • Familiar with industry-standard SEO software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications: Excel and PowerPoint or Sheets and Slides
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptionally clear oral and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
  • Experience working in an agency environment or other role managing multiple competing projects and deadlines
