The Noortwyck is a restaurant from Eleven Madison Park veterans, Chef Andy Quinn and Sommelier Cedric Nicaise. Located in the heart of the West Village, the restaurant features a seasonal, market driven menu with dishes that range from small to large plates. The food is complimented by a thoughtfully curated wine list focusing on French wine regions and a seasonally changing cocktail menu. This  new   neighborhood staple combines these elements with a warm welcoming team that is committed to delivering genuine hospitality.

As a Server , you have a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for leading the service team through all guest interactions at the table and creating memorable guest experiences.

What the position is:

• Anticipate guest needs and ensure constant communication with management, your colleagues, and the kitchen during service.
• Follow steps of service with efficiency and a sense of urgency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout the restaurant at all times.
• Eager to learn and grow.
• Demonstrate expertise of all food and beverage menu items.
• Be able to work well as a team and foster a supportive team environment

What we look for:

• Available to work weekends
• 1+ years experience in a guest-facing restaurant role preferred
• English fluency
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time 
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs
• Positive team-first attitude 
• Commitment to education and learning
