Position Summary

We’re seeking a dependable and experienced Senior Shipping & Receiving Agent to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a strong background in logistics and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident, leading by example in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping

• Pick, pull, and package customer orders according to shipping schedules
• Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems
• Create accurate shipping documents including bills of lading and packing lists
• Label packages correctly and coordinate best shipping methods

Receiving

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments, report damages or discrepancies
• Stock received items in proper warehouse locations
• Maintain receiving records and documentation

Warehouse Operations

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, circular saws, and shrink wrap equipment
• Monitor and maintain shipping supply inventory
• Follow appropriate packaging standards and labeling procedures

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Pick & Pull processes
• Proficiency in FedEx/UPS/DHL shipping software
• Comfort with ERP order processing systems
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Dangerous Goods (DG) experience is preferred
• Candidates with lengthy, stable tenures in previous roles

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
• Familiarity with DG shipping standards (IATA, DOT, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Steady work history with a track record of reliability and performance
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift 50+ lbs.; maneuver drums up to 550 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Work in varying warehouse conditions (heat, cold, dust, fumes, noise)
• Use PPE and adhere to all safety standards
