Job Description

Summary

Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the flow of incoming and outgoing deliveries, inventory accuracy, creating shipping documents, labeling shipments, maintaining records in NetSuite and OpenDock and adhering to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving Goods:
• Checking incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Documenting any discrepancies on the BOL.
• Document damaged material and report to Quality Control.

• Shipping Orders:
• Generate picking and packing documents according to customer specifications and the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Generating shipping labels for EComm.
• Fulfill orders in NetSuite.
• Prioritize loading/unloading of deliveries and shipments.

• Inventory Management:
• Transfer finished goods inventory to the appropriate location (Newport Springs Bottling or Newport Virtual Ecomm).
• Identifying and reallocating inventory to fulfill sales orders.

• Other Duties:
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse workspace.
• Check drivers in (validate delivery/pickup number) and update OpenDock.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding shipment or receiving status.
• Scan delivery documents and send to the Supply Chain Mgr.

• Skills and Qualifications :
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with a warehouse management system (NetSuite knowledge is a plus).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
