Job Opening: School Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Mason, Michigan

Start Date: 25/26 School Year

Position Type: Full-Time | School Year Position

About the Role:

Mason Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our students' communication and academic success. You will work directly with students from various grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with IEPs and 504 plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Qualifications:

✔ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

✔ Michigan SLP License or eligibility

✔ ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs will be considered)

✔ School-based experience is a plus

✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
