Brown & Brown is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Nashville, TN!

The Technical Assistant supports departmental operations through administrative tasks such as data entry, policy processing, and renewal preparation, while gaining exposure to the insurance industry. This role involves maintaining compliance, fostering internal relationships, handling communications, and participating in training to ensure continued professional development and confidentiality.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Assist a designated department with administrative tasks while learning the Insurance Industry
  • Answer phones, route calls, and take/deliver messages
  • Perform data entry, invoicing, policy checks, endorsements, renewal preparation and file maintenance
  • Create reports and assist with sending out renewals
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Obtain an insurance license

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • 1+ years office administration experience, preferred
  • Willingness to grow within the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
