TRC Talent is looking for a Translator for our client in White, GA

Job Summar y: We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Technical Translator proficient in both Korean and English to join our team.

P ay: $35.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately translate technical documents, including blueprints, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and other materials from Korean to English and vice veras
• Assist bilingual teams during meetings, negotiations, and factory visits by providing on-site interpretation and document translation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication between Korean and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Ensure the precise translation of complex technical terms, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all materials.
• Liaise between Korean-speaking clients, partners, and internal teams to bridge any language gaps.
• Maintain confidentiality in all translation work and ensure adherence to privacy agreements.
• Collaborate with team members on translating industry-specific terminology, adapting it to the correct context.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both written and spoken Korean and English.
• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
• Certification from organizations like ATA (American Translators Association) or NAATI is highly desirable.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or technical translation.
• Ability to accurately translate technical documents, including blueprints, SOPs, and manuals.
• Understanding of Korean business culture and etiquette.
• Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ.
• Experience with ERP systems, CAD software, or production management tools is a plus.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality agreements and handle sensitive information professionally.
