Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Vietnamese Translator for a one-day assignment. The translator will support seamless communication by providing precise language interpretation and translation to assist an individual or team during a project, meeting, or event. This role is ideal for someone with strong bilingual proficiency and exceptional communication skills. Key Responsibilities: + Accurately translate spoken or written content from Vietnamese to English and vice versa in real-time or as needed. + Bridge communication gaps during meetings, presentations, or events by facilitating clear dialogue between Vietnamese- and English-speaking parties. + Conduct minor edits or review translated documents for accuracy and context, if applicable. + Adapt translations to suit the tone, style, and cultural nuances of the discussion or materials. + Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all aspects of the assignment. Requirements + Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both written and oral (native or near-native proficiency preferred). + Previous experience as a translator or interpreter is strongly preferred. + Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills. + Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-faceted environments. + Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of differences in communication styles.
