Position Summary: UPS Industrial is in search of Warehouse Workers who are interested in joining our team. Ideal candidates should be local to the Deer Park area. Those who have previous warehouse experience are urged to apply. This position generally works a 4-10's schedule, and offers benefits including health care, 401k, and paid time off.

Duties

• Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
• Perform accurate tool inventories.
• Read and fulfill tool requests from various locations.
• Prepare tool and equipment orders for shipping.
• Receive, inspect, document, and store incoming shipments of tools and supplies.
• Inventory and restock tool trailers to prepare them for dispatch.
• Paint and engrave tools.
• Complete all pertinent paperwork associated with this position.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cranes in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to quality standards.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
