Chief Medical Officer – Emerging MedTech Platform

Executive Leadership

A stealth-mode, next-generation medtech company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical and regulatory strategy across a groundbreaking therapeutic and diagnostic platform. This executive will guide efforts to validate novel applications of low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) and near-infrared (NIR) technologies aimed at treating complex conditions across neurology, oncology, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design and execution of clinical trials across multiple indications
• Lead global regulatory strategy and interface with FDA/EMA
• Serve as clinical voice in business development, research collaborations, and product strategy
• Guide medical input on device usability, safety, and efficacy
• Represent the company at conferences and with strategic partners

Qualifications:

• MD and/or PhD with deep experience in therapeutic ultrasound, photonics, or related fields
• Proven track record in clinical development and successful regulatory submissions (510(k), PMA, etc.)
• Experience with early-stage technologies from concept to market
• Strong communication skills and ability to align clinical, commercial, and R&D priorities
