Position Title: Construction Estimator (entry-level)

Location: Manassas, VA (on-site)

Permanent/Direct-hire

Compensation: $50-60K

Work Schedule: M-F 9-5

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in construction management, cost estimating, or project coordination. The Estimator will assist in preparing cost estimates, soliciting subcontractor bids, and supporting the project management team throughout the pre-construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for residential, commercial, or civil construction projects
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Solicit and review quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Enter data into estimating software and maintain organized documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to support accurate bidding and planning
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
• Perform value engineering and cost comparison analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work/internship experience)
