Our client is a Construction Manager / General Contractor specializing in commercial, mixed use, and multifamily construction projects in the City of Philadelphia. Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, delivering results safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high standards. This position requires a seasoned professional with proven expertise in healthcare construction, especially ICU/Cath Lab or hospital renovation work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring alignment with company and client goals.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to achieve project milestones, quality, and safety standards.
• Oversee healthcare-specific construction, including hospital renovations and infection control compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
• Lead project meetings, track progress, process RFIs and change orders, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Control costs, review billing and schedules of value, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs to optimize resource allocation.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
• Demonstrated job stability—minimum 3–5 years with previous employers; not a “jumper.”
• Experience in healthcare projects including ICU/Cath Lab or hospital renovations
• Proficient in construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
