Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (hybrid – in office Tuesday and Thursday)

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

OVERVIEW

Insight Global is seeking an enthusiastic Employee Relations Lead to join a leading renewable energy organization in Scottsdale, AZ. The Employee Relations Lead will partner with company leaders across departments to promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment. They will manage employee investigations, interpret and advise upon company policy, and ensure consistent treatment across all employees.

This position will be starting as a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. During the first 6 months, employees will be eligible for overtime pay at time and a half their base hourly rate. All payroll will be processed weekly with payout on Fridays during that period. This is a long term need for our client with the intent to bring the Employee Relations Lead on for a permanent, direct hire role after the contract period is complete.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as the primary expert on employee relations issues, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to legal and company policies.
  • Lead and conduct thorough, unbiased investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, and workplace concerns, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management, corrective actions, and employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment.
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring all HR practices remain compliant and up-to-date with current regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to mitigate risks and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations and recommend proactive strategies to enhance workplace culture and morale.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and training materials related to employee relations.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing work environment that aligns with organizational values.
  • Support HR team initiatives, including engagement surveys, policy rollouts, and change management efforts.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of complex employee relations issues, such as complaints involving misconduct, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in human resources or employee relations
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and exercising independent judgement
  • High proficiency with HRIS and MS Office Suite

Compensation : $30 - $40/hr. Compensation will vary depending on individual skills, education, and years of experience.

Benefits : Employee will be eligible for benefits including health insurances (medical, vision, dental), HSA/FSA, and other wellness perks starting on day 31 of employment. Benefits including 401(k) retirement account contributions and paid sick leave are available on day 91 of employment (if applicable by local/state level employment laws).
