Fuel Truck Driver – Local Deliveries

📍 Bakersfield, CA

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded Fuel Truck Driver to join our team in the Bakersfield area. In this role, you’ll deliver bulk fuel and petroleum products to commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers in the region. This is a local driving position — you’ll be home daily.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fuel Truck Driver located in the Bakersfield, Central Valley, CA region. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely driving and operating fuel trucks, loading and unloading fuel, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The driver will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and deliver fuel to various locations while adhering to company policies and safety standards. What you will do

• Safely operate a fuel delivery truck to transport petroleum products to customer sites
• Load, transport, and unload fuel in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations
• Complete all required delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
• Provide excellent service and communication to customers and internal teams before/during/after deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

What you bring

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (required)
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Drug free, and willing to take a drug test, and consent to a background screening
• Previous fuel, petroleum, or tanker driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift, pull, and maneuver hoses and equipment during deliveries
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
• Experience in loading, unloading, and delivering fuel
• Knowledge and understanding of DOT Regulations
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to company policies
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading fuel
• Prior fueling experience and familiarity with fuel systems is a plus
