Journeyman Electrician – Residential Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential homes according to local and national electrical codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and safe installations.
• Perform inspections and testing on electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or compliance issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers, homeowners, and team members to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Maintain job documentation, including materials used and work completed, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Journeyman Electrician License in Texas (Required).
• 3+ years of experience in residential electrical service, installation, or repair.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
