Job Description

A contract manufacturing and formulation company in the Corona, California area is seeking an experienced Lab Technician with a background in packaging or cosmetics. This full-time, in-office role is essential to supporting the development and quality assurance of innovative packaging solutions within the beauty industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical, chemical, and compatibility testing on packaging materials
• Use Fishbowl ERP to manage lab inventory and maintain accurate testing records
• Support the development and validation of packaging for cosmetic products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product-packaging compatibility
• Accurately document testing procedures, findings, and results
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for accurate performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field
• Experience in the packaging or cosmetics industry is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of quality control processes and industry compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Hours:

Full-time, in-office only

Salary:

$20/hour to $27/hour (depending on experience)
