Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, client-oriented, collaborative Manager to lead our in-house team of tenant improvement space planning professionals to support our commercial office leasing efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with clients and their representatives to develop space plans that are consistent with tenant’s needs and with landlord’s guidelines
  • Manage team of space planners, permit professionals and As-Built specialists.
  • Draft detailed space plan program documents
  • Provide project team coordination for the plans, specifications, and materials
  • Manage process efficiently from start to finish and assign projects appropriately
  • Review all planners work to ensure ADA code compliance and ensure designs are completed on time and adhere to established budget
  • Prepare contract documents and work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and samples
  • Assist in managing tenant expectations, team communication and consultant coordination

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of related commercial/corporate interiors design experience
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree strongly desired
  • Proven management experience leading a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and space planning
  • Technical background including knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and construction techniques
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and will have the ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced work environment where attention to detail and compressed turnaround times are highly valued
  • Ability to work well with various departments, including construction, leasing, and property management.
