💼 Full-Time | Starting Salary: $55,000/year

Miami Arts Charter School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic 7th Grade Math Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2025–2026 school year. If you're passionate about helping middle school students develop strong mathematical skills in a unique, arts-integrated academic setting, this is your opportunity.

Since 2009, Miami Arts Charter School has served grades 6–12 in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Wynwood Arts District. Students are admitted through a selective audition and application process focused on the performing and fine arts, resulting in a highly motivated and creative student body.

As a Florida Public Charter School, all courses follow the Florida State Standards. We are proud to serve a diverse community of academically and artistically talented students and provide educators with an engaging, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 7th Grade Mathematics using Florida State Standards
• Create interactive, student-centered lesson plans and learning activities
• Support student growth in problem-solving, numeracy, and critical thinking
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and productive classroom environment
• Evaluate student progress and communicate effectively with families
• Collaborate with team members and engage in school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

• State of Florida Teaching Certificate (Professional or Temporary) OR Statement of Eligibility
• Teaching experience preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A passion for education and a dedication to middle school learners
• Enthusiasm for working with a uniquely talented student population
