Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and dedicated individual to provide exceptional personal care for a male client. The successful candidate will join a team that includes executive assistants, concierge physicians, estate staff, and chefs, and will take primary responsibility for daily, hands-on personal care.

While a healthcare background is advantageous, all prospective candidates with a strong client service background and a willingness to learn specific care tasks are encouraged to apply.

The role demands reliability, empathy, professionalism, and strict confidentiality regarding medical and personal matters. Other key requirements include punctuality, consistent attendance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where adaptability is essential, and curveballs are the norm. The candidate must remain composed under pressure, collaborate respectfully with team members, and multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and ambulation.
  • Support daily routines, ensuring all health-related arrangements are seamlessly coordinated. These include medication organization, hydration, specialized dietary needs and monitoring, physical therapy, and exercise.
  • Assist with daily medication administration and device operation (ie hearing aids) and accompany the client to medical appointments.
  • Observe, document, and report changes in the client’s condition
  • Run errands or accompany the client for errands as needed.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and physical safety.
  • Monitor and manage dietary needs, track meals using desktop software, with a focus on carbohydrate intake, maintain shopping lists, and coordinate with chefs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with technology, including PC & iPhone use, Microsoft Office and Zoom.
  • On weekends: serve pre-prepared meals and perform basic cooking duties.
  • On weekends: perform housekeeping tasks, including bed-making, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
