What is Private Duty Nursing?

Private Duty Nursing is one-on-one care in the home for clients with specialized healthcare needs who require continuous hourly nursing care, up to 16 hours per day.

What do PD nurses do?

Provide One-on-one care and patient interaction
Vital signs and physical assessments
Administration of medications and treatments (as prescribed by a physician)
Documentation of the patient's ongoing condition
G-tubes, trach, and vent care possible
Training:

One-on-One Specialized Training
Trach, Ventilator and G-Tube Training
24/7 support staff

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Pediatric Experience preferred but not Required!
