Fast-paced, process-oriented manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager to lead an assigned manufacturing area in a 24/7/365 operation with direct and indirect reports. As the Production Manager, you will report to the Plant Manager and will have Production Supervisors reporting to you. Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, be able to hold others accountable and enjoy floor presence. Although more initially, individuals should enjoy spending up to 50% of their time on the manufacturing floor, supporting a 24/7/365 operation.

REQUIREMENTS for the Production Manager:
1. Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field
2. Minimum of three years of similar manufacturing management experience
3. Experience working in food, beverage or pharmaceutical (GMP related) manufacturing environments
4. Experience completing CI functions, including scrap reductions, improving line efficiencies, etc.
5. Experience working in packaging environments
6. Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports
7. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. ERP experience
2. Experience working in highly automated environments
3. Lean and/or Six Sigma training and/or certifications
4. Supervision experience in non-union work environments
5. Willingness to relocate in the future for promotional opportunities
