Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager with a background in civil/site development to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in civil engineering, proven project management experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality site development projects across commercial, residential, and/or municipal markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of civil/site development projects from conception through completion.

  • Oversee the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and design documents for grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, erosion control, and roadway design.

  • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely project approvals and successful outcomes.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing needs.

  • Mentor and support junior engineering staff and designers.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards.

  • Participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree a plus.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

  • 6-15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a focus on site development.

  • Proven track record managing civil/site development projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering design software.

  • Strong knowledge of Georgia development regulations and permitting processes.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in land development, stormwater modeling, and hydrology/hydraulics.

  • Familiarity with GDOT and local municipal design requirements.

  • Strong relationships with local clients, contractors, and permitting authorities.
