Job Title: Senior Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to join our San Diego, CA, team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives on solving complex HVAC challenges, delivering exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior technicians. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosed and repaired commercial/industrial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and cooling towers.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues, including components such as compressors, motors, sensors, wiring, and control systems.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and service details to clients clearly and professionally.
• Accurately complete service documentation, including work orders and maintenance reports.
• Mentor and support junior technicians, providing guidance and on-the-job training to build team capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC service and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, electrical components, and controls.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with large-scale systems (e.g., chillers, multi-zone, boilers) is highly desirable.
