Job Description

This position will support Lane's subsidiary organization - VSL Constructors. This role will support the Northern Virginia Market.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership for maintaining a safe workplace, on-site field administration, supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of assistants, foreman, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
• Directs others in planning, coordination and execution of work on time, within budget and safely.
• Promotes and enhances client relationships, public relations, company worth, and the company image.
• Reviews and monitors all jobsite control reporting measures including daily reports, payroll, quantity reporting, and timesheets.
• Evaluates schedule and construction sequence to determine ways to reduce construction time and cost.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 10 years of management experience for a Heavy/Highway contractor ($100M+ level)
• Experience with electrical DOT
